Outdoor Performance Space
The outdoor performance space will be a multi-functional space where the community can gather to enjoy everything from small performances, events, or a simple relaxing day at the park. During special occasions it will provide an area that can be used for private events like weddings, beer gardens, or provide a private space for non-profits to create their own events.
Location
The outdoor performance space will be located near the 5th st. area of the park. In later phases, there will be botanical garden areas just east of the space.
Trellis/Arbor
The Friends of Campus Park has suggested creating a pavilion as an arbor or trellis that forms a half circle around the outdoor performance space. This feature can then serve as a scenic backdrop for the numerous events that can be held here.
