***NEWS UPDATE*** Last week some of us attended a Prop 68 information meeting to learn about the enormous grant opportunity Prop 68 provides to cities to create new parks, expand and renovate existing parks. Because of this opportunity the city will be pursuing this grant and is going to hold workshops to get public input and ideas for Campus Park. Friends of Campus Park will be assisting with this process and plan to use it as a stepping stone to create an official Campus Park master plan. Also, we are soon meeting again with the city to have further discussions about our Campus Park partnership with them and hopefully we can come to an official agreement. We'll let you know when the first Campus Park workshop takes place. SO EXCITING!
